Kendall Supports Food Bank of Alaska’s Emergency Food Distribution
In response to COVID-19, Food Bank of Alaska has begun assembling emergency food boxes for seniors and low-income families. Each box weighs 35 lbs and contains enough goods for 24 meals. Food boxes are delivered directly to home-bound seniors in need.
To support Food Bank of Alaska’s emergency food box program, Kendall Auto of Alaska has donated $3,500 to purchase the first 1,500 boxes used for the product to be distributed in. In addition to volunteering to deliver the first set of food boxes directly to home-bound seniors.
