Hilltop Ski Area Opens New Bike Park

Hilltop Ski Area has opened Anchorage’s first lift-assisted bike park and Toyota Anchorage is proud to be a founding sponsor to support outdoor recreation and healthy lifestyles. The bike park features a pump track, jump line, and downhill trails for all skill levels. Toyota Anchorage sponsored and named the bike park’s only black diamond technical trail – Taco Sauce. Hundreds of eager mountain bikers of all ages came out for the grand opening event to hop on the chair lift and hit the trails. The grand opening featured vendors, DJ, food trucks and beer garden.

Hilltop is operated by the non-profit Youth Exploring Adventure Inc. Their mission is to develop and provide recreational and educational programs for Alaskan youth.  Visit www.hilltopskiarea.org for more information.
