Armed Services YMCA of Alaska Shoot for the Troops

On August 14, Kendall Ford of Anchorage will be sponsoring Armed Services YMCA of Alaska’s annual Shoot for the Troops event. The Shoot for the Troops fundraiser is held at the Birchwood Recreation and Shooting Park and helps Armed Services YMCA of Alaska raise funds to provide programs and services for military stationed in Alaska. Each year, corporations sponsor military teams who compete against teams from the local community for 1st place bragging rights. Shoot for the Troops is a 100-shot sporting clays tournament, with a BBQ lunch to follow.
