2021 Alaska State Youth of the Year
Each year, Boys & Girls Club organizations across the country choose one teen to represent their club as Youth of the Year. This distinction is awarded to club members who demonstrate academic excellence, a commitment to healthy living, good character and leadership, and extraordinary service to their club and community. Kendall of Kenai Peninsula donated $2,500 towards scholarships for this year’s Youth of the Year candidates.
On March 5, following virtual interviews with judges, Ezra from Boys and Girls Club of Fairbanks was chosen as this year’s Alaska State Youth of the Year! We wish him the best of luck representing Alaska while competing in the Pacific Regionals in May.
