UAA’s Auto and Diesel Technology Program Hosts the 3rd Annual UAA Auto Diesel EXPO

The UAA Auto and Diesel Technology Program proudly hosted the third annual UAA Auto Diesel EXPO. This exciting event featured numerous industry sponsors showcasing their latest products, with Kendall on hand to present our vehicles and technical opportunities. A donation was made to the Automotive Program at UAA for each booth.

Mission of the Automotive Technology Programs

The mission of the Automotive Technology programs is to:

  • Prepare students for lucrative and in-demand careers in transportation repair and maintenance
  • Support working automotive technicians through continued professional education
  • Assist related programs at both secondary and postsecondary levels throughout Alaska
  • Enhance the reputation of the automotive technology industry

The Automotive Technology program equips graduates for high-skill roles as maintenance and repair technicians in dealerships, fleet operations, and independent repair facilities.

Kudos to the students and staff of UAA’s Auto and Diesel program for their excellent hosting of the event! From the car show to the burnout contest, it was a fantastic way to spend the day!
