Supporting Families with Operation Backpack

Kendall Auto Alaska had a PACKED time teaming up with the USO at Fort Wainwright and FSS at Eielson Air Force Base for Operation Backpack!

And when we say packed… we mean it!

 At Fort Wainwright, more than 400 people came through in the FIRST HOUR! Families with students from preschool through 12th grade joined the fun, and we handed out 300 backpacks plus a mountain of school supplies to help kids start the year ready to learn.

Over at Eielson Air Force Base, another 150 families joined us, with 250 backpacks donated to help students gear up for the classroom!

That’s a whole lot of backpacks, pencils, notebooks—and happy kids!

We’re so grateful to the USO, Fort Wainwright, Eielson AFB FSS, our Kendall team, volunteers, and everyone who helped make Operation Backpack such a fun and successful event.
