Taku Elementary creates a safe and welcoming environment to support the diverse needs of students where everyone believes they are valued and capable of success. Each year, our school holds a Holiday Feast for all of our students at Redington. This year, we will be holding our Holiday Feast on Thursday, December 21st, the day before Holiday Break. For some students, this is the only holiday feast they get for the season. It truly is an amazing and magical experience for our kids. We are accepting food donations and monetary donations.
Brief summary of Benefits for Funds Donated: Since Redington opened 9 years ago, we have hosted a Holiday Feast for our students. For some of our students, it’s the only Holiday Themed sit down dinner they will get throughout the Holiday Season. All left over food is then packed up and sent home with families in need. It truly is a magical event that all of our students look forward to each year.
