Kendall Auto Alaska and Special Olympics, Polar Plunge!

More than 700 individuals braved the frigid waters of Goose Lake on Saturday morning for the 16th annual Polar Plunge benefiting Special Olympics Alaska. Kendall Auto Alaska proudly joined in the plunge! We took this icy dip to show our support for Special Olympics Alaska, embracing the chill for a wonderful cause. It was an honor to help exceed their goals while contributing to such an important mission. Spectators wrapped in warm coats and scarves cheered from the sidelines, their enthusiasm palpable despite the biting cold. Many participants donned creative costumes, adding a splash of color and fun to the event. Superheroes, fairytale characters, and even some local mascots took the plunge, each splash met with applause and laughter.

The Polar Plunge has become a beloved tradition in Anchorage, symbolizing the warmth and generosity of the community. Each year, the event grows, drawing more participants and raising greater awareness for this incredible cause. Here’s to another year of making a difference, one brave leap at a time!
