Honoring Our Military: The Annual Salute Event

Thanks to the unwavering support of the Anchorage community and military leadership, the Annual Salute to the Military has become a well-established annual event hosted by a non-profit organization. This event recognizes twelve exceptional enlisted service members, one from each of the active duty branches, the Guard, and Reserve, for their outstanding achievements. Moreover, the Armed Services YMCA of Alaska acknowledges one Alaska Military Spouse of the Year and the Bobby Alexander Civic Leader of the Year. Join us in applauding our courageous military heroes! The Annual Salute to the Military, hosted by ASYMCA, and Kendall Auto Alaska are leading examples of community support. Each year, we recognize twelve remarkable enlisted service members, one from each Active Duty, the Guard, and the Reserve branch. But that’s not all!
