Bikes & Badges
Anchorage Cops for Community (AC4C), Kendall Auto Alaska, and Hilltop Unite to Empower Kids Through Biking
For many kids, the simple joy of riding a bike is a childhood staple—a first taste of independence, adventure, and confidence. But for children living in shelters, access to bikes, lessons, and safe places to ride can be limited. That’s why AC4C (Anchorage Cops for Community), Hilltop, and Kendall Auto Alaska are coming together to host a special event, Bikes & Badges, dedicated to giving these kids the opportunity to experience the joy of cycling.
ANCHORAGE FOR COPS: MAKING A DIFFERENCE
At the heart of this event is AC4C, the Anchorage Police Union’s non-profit initiative. AC4C is committed to building strong relationships between law enforcement and the community by engaging citizens in positive, impactful ways. Through the support, Anchorage’s officers go beyond their duty to make a real difference in children’s lives. Events like Bikes & Badges allow officers to connect with kids, empowering them with opportunities to learn new skills while fostering trust and encouragement.
WHY IT MATTERS
For children facing housing insecurity, this event provides more than just a fun day out—it’s a chance to feel seen, supported, and empowered. Learning to ride a bike isn’t just about fun; it’s about confidence, resilience, and the freedom to explore. Thanks to AC4C and the dedicated officers of the Anchorage Police Department, along with the support of Hilltop and Kendall Auto Alaska, these kids will leave not only with new skills but also with memories of encouragement and community support.
Join us in making a difference—one bike ride at a time.
