A Message to Our Community From Providence Alaska’s Children’s Hospital

We cannot tell you how truly thankful and blessed we are for your partnership to get stuffed animal creatures to kids receiving treatment and care at Providence Alaska Children’s Hospital! Our amazing Child Life team shared a photo and story from this past weekend of a sweet patient, Lucas.

“I wanted to share with you this sweet story from one of our pediatric patients who came through the Emergency Department. This patient got to cuddle Bear Kin during his port access and enjoyed reading the accompanying books with his dad after his treatment. This donation brought so much joy to this kiddo and helped him cope with his ED visit.

Thank you so much to Kendall Auto Alaska for this incredible donation!! Patients, families, and staff greatly appreciate your generosity and the positive impact it is making on kiddos who have an illness or injury. It is truly remarkable to see a child’s face light up when they are given one of these adorable stuffies. Priceless! 🙂 “

I am beyond grateful for the truly outstanding show of support our customers and community as well as teammates of Kendall Auto Alaska have shown to Providence Alaska’s Children’s Hospital and The Children’s Miracle Network! Together with your amazing support, we were able to raise,

$41,838.83That is an absolutely remarkable show of your heartfelt generosity to kids in need! I am humbled by your participation and so proud of everyone! This just goes to show that when the community we serve and  Kendall Auto Alaska join forces we go above and beyond!The Children’s Hospital needed 900 emotional support friends for every child going through a traumatic injury, cancer treatment, NICU & PICU. With the amount we raised, we will be able to provide them with over 1200 emotional support friends that will carry them through May of next year. I can’t tell you how much this means to me and the hospital! It brings me great joy to know every one of those children will get a snuggly new friend because of you!
