About Kendall Cares
While selling and servicing vehicles is our main business practice, giving back is equally important to our team. At Kendall, we pride ourselves in not just donating funds to local nonprofits, but standing behind the causes we support with an active involvement in our communities. It is important to help promote the missions of the organizations we support, which is why it is our privilege to partner with amazing nonprofits in Idaho whose goals and objectives we are proud to fund, support, and share with our valued customers.
Kendall has been a proud member of the great state of Alaska since 2008 and supporting local initiatives and organizations like The American Cancer Society, JBER, and Iron Dog has become a pillar of our company and what we stand for.
Across the state with locations in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kenai, Soldotna, and Wasilla, we strive to get involved with what matters to YOU, as our customers, employees, and community members. We proudly focus on education, health and human services, hunger awareness, and military support.
Through our Drive for Education program, Kendall Auto Group has donated over $100,000 in scholarships to local high school seniors. Several of these students were awarded brand new vehicles in addition to their scholarships as the selected grand prize winners.
Health & Human Services
Kendall Auto Group sponsors and supports organizations that promote health education, research, and programs for our communities. In 2016 alone, our company has contributed close to $300,000 directly to organizations providing health and human services. These dollars fund research and programs such as breast cancer awareness, heart health, domestic violence prevention, child abuse prevention, and at-risk youth.
Kendall Cares focuses on hunger because this is something that affects children and families in our communities. With peanut butter drives, annual food drives, vehicles for transportation support and other events, Kendall is proud to support our local Foodbanks who are making a great difference in our communities. Together, we can drive out hunger.
We proudly support our veterans, those who serve and their families through a variety of partnerships. In the last year we have been honored to participate in events at Joint- Base Elmendorf Richardson, Eielson Air Force Base, and Ft. Wainwright. As a sponsor of the Iron Dog Snow Mobile Race, we helped raise over $23,000 for the Alaska Veteran's Museum. We have also supported the Alaska Fisher House, and Armed Services YMCA. With several branches of military based in our state, we know how truly important the military is not only in protecting our freedom but also to the Alaskan economy.
